Ponta do Félix Port is the first in Brazil to obtain certifications in safety and compliance by the Federal Revenue

Ponta do Félix Port, in Antonina, on the coast of Paraná, won the Authorized Economic Operator Certificate (OEA), issued by the Federal Revenue Service, and will become part of the Brazilian Customs Program.

The certification recognizes companies that demonstrate the ability to manage risks related to the physical security of cargo and customs tax compliance.

The Port in Antonina was also certified in the Compliance and Security modalities, which evaluate general criteria and customs compliance, taking into account the adoption of procedures required by the Brazilian Program for Authorized Economic Port Operators (OAS) and applied to the supply chain in the flow of foreign trade operations.

"We are the first Brazilian port to have both certifications, starting to enjoy all the benefits of the program that such titles guarantee us", celebrates the president of Porto Ponta do Félix, Gilberto Birkhan.

Benefits

The certifications make Ponta do Félix Port count on the benefits and advantages of the Mutual Recognition Agreements that the Federal Revenue of Brazil (RFB) has with the customs administrations of other countries. In practice, certification allows for greater practicality and agility in the documental process of your import and export operations, speeding up international transactions.
